These terms appear across FeatValue. Each entry is the product meaning, with a link to the docs page that explains it.
Terms
- Agency
-
Your company after self-signup. FeatValue treats you as a service provider that serves clients. The terms agency and service provider are used interchangeably.
See What is FeatValue.
- Apps
-
The sidebar area where you connect project-management and time-tracking tools.
See Connecting apps.
- Client
-
A company you serve. It is linked to your agency; its people are contacts of that company.
See Clients.
- Client review
-
A workflow toggle on a status. When a task enters that status, the client accepts or rejects the work.
See Client review status.
- Co-owner
-
An extra company on a project with the same access as the client. The setting needs Pro.
See Roles and access.
- Complete setup
-
The sidebar checklist after the wizard. It stays until every first-step item is done, then it hides.
See Setup checklist.
- Contact
-
A user of a client company. People sign in to the same app and see a client menu.
See Inviting contacts.
- Premium project
-
A project slot that can use its own workflow, extra task fields and full time planning. Limits follow the company plan.
See Premium projects.
- Pro vs Premium
-
The UI plan name is Pro. Internally FeatValue stores that plan as premium. A premium project is a project slot, not the company plan.
See Plans.
- Project
-
The container for tasks, reviews, documents and planning that your agency shares with a client or owns itself.
See Projects.
- Service provider
-
Another company that works on a project with you. The app also labels this role Service Worker. The terms service provider and agency are used interchangeably.
See Roles and access.
- Sprint
-
A time-planning period with a capacity. You use sprints to place work in a week or similar interval.
See Sprints.
- Status
-
One step on a workflow, such as open work or review. Toggles on the status tell FeatValue what the step means.
See Status.
- Task
-
One piece of work in the portal. Clients comment, attach files and accept it without your project-management tool.
See Tasks.
- Theme
-
The whitelabel look of the portal: logo, colors and menus for clients and providers.
See Whitelabeling.
- Time entry
-
A recorded duration on a task or project, typed in FeatValue or imported from a time-tracking app.
See Time entries.
- Time planning
-
How FeatValue places work into sprints, capacities and timelines. Full planning needs a premium project.
See Time planning.
- Transition
-
The named move from one status to another. It is the button people click on a task, such as Start review.
See Transitions.
- Workflow
-
The set of statuses a task can move through. Individual workflows need a paid plan and a premium project to assign.
See Workflows.
