Cancellation

You cancel a paid subscription in Settings on the License page. FeatValue keeps access until the current period ends.

What cancellation is for

Use this when the company should stop renewing a Paddle plan. Cancellation is not the same as deleting the account.

Where to find it

Open Settings › Company › License. Cancel subscription sits at the bottom of the card. The link shows only for company admins and only when the company has a running subscription that is not cancelled yet.

If a Paddle customer portal is configured, the same page and a separate tile offer Subscriptions & invoices. That link opens the portal in a new tab. See License, subscriptions and invoices.

How it works

  1. Open the cancel dialog

Under Settings › Company › License click Cancel subscription. FeatValue explains the step and offers a meeting if you want to talk first.
  2. Keep or confirm

Click Keep subscription to stay on the plan. Click Cancel subscription again to send the cancel request.
  3. Use the remaining period

Access stays until the stored period end (ends_at). After that date the paid plan no longer renews.
Cancelling the subscription does not delete users or the company. To remove an account, use Offboarding and deletion.

Paddle portal

Subscriptions & invoices appears only when FeatValue has a portal URL and a stored Paddle address. Use it for invoices and payment details in Paddle. Plan changes still go through the plan cards in the app. See Upgrade and downgrade.

Troubleshooting

Cancel subscription is missing

You are not a company admin, the company has no active paid subscription, or a cancel is already stored and the period is running out. The status on the License page then shows Cancelled and the end date.

I still have Pro after I cancelled

That is expected until the period end. The app keeps premium access until that date.
