Roles and admins

Agency rights come from company admin, not from a role dropdown. The Role field on a profile is a job title only.

What roles and admins are for

Someone must invite people, edit profiles and remove colleagues. FeatValue gives that to the first user of a company. Later invites stay regular users.

Where to find it

There is no admin switch on New user. Open a person on Users to see Profile. In edit mode the job title field is Role.

How it works

1. First user becomes company admin

   When a company has no users yet, the invited person becomes company admin automatically. That includes the first contact of a new client company.

2. Edit a profile

   A company admin can edit another person in the same company who is not company admin. Change Role if you want a job title such as “Project lead”.

3. Remove a user

   If the trash control is available, FeatValue opens Remove user. Confirm to take the person out of the company. Cancel with Cancel.

A removed person has no company. A later invite to the same address can send a rejoin mail. See Inviting users.

Troubleshooting

There is no role dropdown when I invite

That is expected. Invite with Invite user. Company admin is automatic only for the first user of that company.

I cannot remove a colleague

You must be company admin of the same company. The person must not be company admin, and you cannot remove yourself.
